Part of the Plainfield, Illinois Parks District, Avery Park saw a new addition in 2018 of the 9-hold Avery Disc Golf Course. Located directly across the road from one of the largest bird sanctuaries in Northern Illinois (Lake Renwick Heron Rookery), this park offers year-round activities so you can get outside when adventure calls.  The course boasts artificial turf covered tee pads and great scenery along the course. 

But if that kind of birdie is not your thing, then the Avery Preserve provides the non-disc members in your party with an array of other activities. Enjoy the nearby baseball field, sporting field or hiking among the 13+acres. Lily Creek meanders throughout the property adding a unique and beautiful backdrop to your event.
